What is your Customer Satisfaction Policy? - A hand made Steel Drum from Trinidad is just that, made by hand.  The 35-40 hour process has changed little in nearly 50 years.  These are the real thing from the real guys!  Small dents and some tool marking here and there are to be expected and are a result of the process.  We cannot guarantee that your pan will look like it came from a precision factory process.  Our promise is that you receive a well tuned, great looking instrument.

Our Guarantee - We guarantee that you will be satisfied with your handcrafted Steel Drum instrument from Hopetown Music. If within 5 days of receiving your instrument (s) you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the following Return Policy will be in effect.

Return Policy - Return Authorization will be granted under the following conditions: 1. No Return Authorization will be granted after 5 days of product "Receipt".  Shipping company's record of customer delivery constitutes "Receipt" of items.  2. All returned items must be packaged in original shipping container and protective packaging.  3. Products that have been obviously used or damaged in any way cannot be returned.  4. A restocking charge of 15% will apply to all returned items.  5. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.  6. All items sold as "used", "scratch and dent", "clearance" or items specifically sold in "as-is" condition are neither returnable nor refundable under any circumstances.

Cancellation of Special Order Instruments - We require cash deposits for all special orders for  instruments.  Deposits for special orders, once under construction, are not refundable. 

What is your Information Privacy Policy? - We will NEVER under any circumstances, share your private information i.e., Phone, E-Mail etc. with anyone! Further, if you are on our mailing or E-Mail list and wish not to receive further mail from us, just say so and we?ll remove you right away. All of our outgoing E-Mails have a single-click, opt-out link right on them.

How do I pay for my purchase? - U.S. Purchases - Hopetown Music accepts payment by Major Credit Cards, either Personal or Business Checks drawn on U.S. Banks, International or U.S. Postal Money Orders, PayPal or Bank Transfers. In the case of Schools or Institutions, we will also accept duly authorized purchase orders. Cash (Check or Money Order) deposits are required on all special orders.
 
How do I pay for my purchase? - International Purchases - Hopetown Music accepts payment from our international customers through your PayPal account or via Bank to Bank Wire Transfer.  PayPal accounts are free to sign up for and represent one of the safest, least expensive ways to pay international bills.  You can now use your Major Credit Card in the PayPal checkout process! 

Shipping - Shipping is free in the continental U.S.  (Shipping charges may apply to large band purchases requiring LTL freight transport.  Contact us for more information.) We ship by either U.S.P.S. or by FedEx Ground.  Pan orders must be signed for on delivery.

International Shipping - When we receive your order for an international delivery, we will contact you and obtain your authorization for collecting the additional cost of shipping to your international address.  We will not process your order until you authorize the surcharge.  The surcharge is for transport/shipping only.

Internation Customs Duties and Import Taxes - It is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay any Customs duties and/or import taxes. Contact your local customs and tax authorities to understand more.  We do not quote nor do we collect any international government fees.
